Back at Work...

Last week was my first week back at work. And it surely was not easy, but I survived. Like they say, it's usually harder on mom than it is the child. But I still missed Ethan dearly and I would much rather stay at home and take care of him than work. But, work is calling me back. When we have more kids, I hope to be only part-time instead of full-time.

I managed to get a few flights under my belt and all went well. I'll start some of my clinical rotations this week. The Same Day Surgery Center is my first stop to place breathing tubes (a.k.a intubations) in people. My other clinicals include: adult intensive care, emergency dept, neonatal intensive care, labor and delivery, pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, and a day riding along with Rapid City paramedics. Plus, I have 9 more flights (minimum) to complete before I'm let loose. Oh, and don't forget the ton of other skills test stuff that need to be complete.

Jordan's highlight of the week was his first indoor enduro! Yes, he survived. And he did pretty good. He was so worried about not crashing on the course that he kind of forgot to race...LOL! But, I was a nervous wreck watching him! I'll include the link to the video.

And we can't forget about Ethan! He can roll from his belly to his back!!! GOOO Ethan! He is getting so big. Soon, he'll be reading "War and Peace." Don't forget that he'll be able to change his own diaper soon, too! He has also become a master of drooling and sucking on his hands. Yes, we have video of him, too. I don't think we've downloaded it onto the computer. We will include that with the next post.
